The hotel’s location is so good. Metro station 3 minutes walk and only 20 minute walk to the nearest hop on hop off bus stop. Staff friendly. Our room was spotlessly clean. It was small though. Would have been fine for two people but it was myself and my 2 adult children - wish we had booked a four person room and paid a little extra as with the extra bed in the double room there was zero floor space left for our belongings/suitcases. All in all a good stay. Le Camelia across the road had a lovely breakfast and we had a fab dinner and we’ll-priced cocktails at ZigZag Cafe 100m down the road.

This was an okay hotel, with a few issues. A quaint residential location which I loved, out of the touristy areas, but close enough to the action. The staff was okay, they ran out of water during the heatwave and my shower was clogged more than once. Also note these rooms are Uber small and very thin walled. You can hear guests in the adjacent rooms. And when I say small, I had no space to put my suitcase so it lived on the bed which was not ideal for comfort. I don’t mind sa arriving extra space but the rooms could have been designed to have a place for luggage. Both my duffle and carry one had to stay on the bed as they wouldn’t fit on the desk, chair or floor. I was most disappointed that the shower drain didn’t work and I had to point it out twice to the staff, I stayed for 5 nights and was more than ready to move out!

In fact, I personally like the feeling of staying in this hotel.Let me talk about the surrounding environment first, the security is considered to be safer than other districts. It is very close to one of the Metro stations, and it takes about 3-5 minutes to walk. But be aware that there is only one train line that can reach that station. Do yourself a favor on how erratic French trains are.The lobby of the hotel is exquisitely decorated, next to the place for breakfast. The staff at the front desk are very polite and hospitable. Even though we didn't check-in until after 7:00 p.m., they still welcomed us very energetically. There are 10 rooms on the first floor, half of which are indoors, and a few doors are facing the outside, not a view, but the opposite building. There are only four floors in one building, as well as a gym and swimming pool. In terms of facilities, this price can be regarded as a very four-star hotel.The room space is considered small, and the bed is just as soon as the door is opened, but although the sparrow is small, it feels like it has all internal organs, and the necessary equipment is still very complete. Bedside tables on both sides of the bed, a small table next to it, a small wardrobe, a refrigerator, a luggage rack, a kettle, a coffee capsule machine, a cold kettle, and coffee cups are all available. The bathroom may be particularly European-focused, so most of the space is in the bathroom. There is enough space, and slippers are included! I'm so happy. I didn't pay for slippers in the 6/7 hotels I stayed in before. The difference in this one is huge when compared. The staff of Room Service are very friendly, and they work hard every day to help make the bed. They come twice a day, and once in the evening, they even unwrap the floor towels in the bathroom.To sum up, if I have the opportunity to come to Paris again for more than a thousand nights, I will come back!

I booked a superior/privilege double room with a sofa bed, and when I checked in I was surprised with the offer of a second room when Mercury reception realised that I was travelling with my son which is 24 years old and we needed extra space as we were moving houses to Paris. Excellent Consumer Service mind set!

There are many good things about this hotel, but firstly I must say that the hotel staff are super friendly and the two guys on reception during our stay went above and beyond, in offering advice and suggestions during our stay, they were exceptional. The hotel itself is in a great spot, a quieter neighbourhood, but feels very safe and friendly. The metro station within yards gives great access to the rest of Paris and you soon get used to jumping on and off. Lots of great traditional french cafes, a fantastic Italians and various supermarkets and shops all within yards of the hotel. Anyone like us travelling with teenagers, go for the family room, it’s ideal with a bathroom but two completely seperate bedrooms (no need to make do with pull out beds). Being a little out of centre I believe gave a better experience of Paris, with all the major attractions being only a short journey away and easily accessible. Couldn’t recommend this hotel enough.

Clean and good atmosphere, only 7 rooms per floor, helpful and timeflexible personnel. Breakfast was not worth 10 eur, no vegetables at all. Lounge decorations was rather dark, more bright colours, please

The hotel is the most recommended in Paris. We have been enchanted with absolutely everything, the room is very cosy and has all kinds of details: TV, desk, mini bar, closet box with clothing storage, heating and air conditioning, The bathroom is very wide, we find a dryer, a stick and a shoe for each, as well as several boots of gel, champagne and cream for the body. The hotel staff is very nice and very friendly! Although the location is a distance from the attraction, it is a safer residential area and very close to the Metro station!However, general hygiene, toilet showers there is no shower curtain, the outside does not go to the water level, more easy to accumulate water.

I used Dupleix Hotel in Paris for very good price n location. Booked through hotels.com. For price you get bed n bath. Nothing else. No fridge, microwave, tv nor hairdryer. Plus shower is open n water goes everywhere. Can live with that but the problem is my brother booked 5 nights for family but I couldn’t stay but 4. Tried to reach them prior to visit n no answer to cancel extra night. When I got here again explain the situation and after three nights of back-and-forth with the hotel and hotels.com I still will not get my money back. Seems like there is untrustworthy proprietor here in my estimation because hotel.com said it was up to the hotel to give me back the money for the night not used. Hotel manager said Expedia said to submit the request to them but we never used Expedia. So I’m out $113. Bottom line ensure you get your dates right.

The breakfast restaurant is a bit small, although the variety is not the same but the Western breakfast.
